Motor Mart Tee

The Motor Mart Tee combines timeless comfort with a personal touch. Made from heavyweight 100% cotton jersey and garment-dyed for a vintage black hue, it was custom designed for an effortless free-flowing fit. Hand-drawn illustrations on the chest and back pay homage to my grandfather’s original Mark The Tailor shop, located in Boston’s historic Motor Mart Garage. At the time of its opening in 1927, it was the largest automobile parking garage in the world. The garage was advertised as “more than a place to park your car,” which was certainly true as patrons also came to get their garments tailored by my grandfather and their hair cut by George’s Barber Shop next door.
